Welcome to the HKN Website
Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) strives to help progress the engineering student body through leadership, scholarship, and service. Due to the division of the EECS department, the Beta Epsilon chapter here at the University of Michigan is composed for electrical, computer, and computer science engineers. As an organization, we bring services to the greater student body through the dB Cafe and other events and we help our own members by providing networking and educational opportunities. Below is a schedule of our upcoming tech talks, sponsorships, and other events.

F09 Programming Competition Announced!
Details can be found in the Rules.txt file in the
competition tarball. You'll note that make submit will submit all of you source files -- please do not try to circumvent this, this is designed to be an educational competition. Source will be well-protected during the run of the competition, and it will all be released at the end of the competition so that others may
learn from the best algorithms. Related, the goal of this is not to break/game the system (please no 'exec rm -rf /' or relatives), rather to have a genuinely interesting competition. Who knows, maybe next semester's competition will simply be 'get your name at the top of the current winners list', but that's not the case presently.
